BTVS Episode 2x12 "Bad Eggs" Review
Rating: 5/10
This episode was honestly just incredibly boring to me, to the point where I barely wrote any notes and don't have much to say. The monster in this ep was just so gross and random, and the cowboy vampires were just so random and unexplained. They literally had no plot relevance, one got eaten, and the other one just ran away in fear of Buffy at the end? They didn't even explain why they were after Buffy. I just didn't get what the point of them was. There was also way too much making out in this episode. I did like that the vampires and Buffy were fighting together at one point, and Buffy emerging from the pit covered in monster blood was fun, but that's it really. The monster itself felt a bit rushed and lazy lore-wise.
Characters:
- **Buffy:** I just felt sorry for Buffy this episode, like she really has to deal with her mom acting like she's irresponsible when she's actually got more responsibility than anyone. I get why her mom thinks that but like what happened to the nice conversation at the end of School Hard??
- Xander/Cordelia: I'm lowkey getting put off by them now. Them being a little toxic was kinda fun before but now it's getting to a point. I still like them but where is it gonna go from here? It would just be nice to get an actual sweet moment with them so it isn't just insults constantly. Also what was the point of Xander not getting possessed cause he did literally nothing to help at all.
