BTVS Episode 1x04 "Teacher's Pet" Review
Rating: 5/10
Ok I didn't love this episode, partly because I hated the whole predator teacher aspect and partly because I do not like insects. Like I was honestly just grossed out most of this episode for either of those reasons. I will say there being two monsters was kind of interesting, it was cool how the vampire was so scared of her. She was kinda mother for scaring off a man with a single look. I'm really sad that we got one nice teacher and he died 5 seconds later like oh okay then. I feel like I don't have much to say about this episode because it felt pretty standard, didn't really stand out to me. I do question why the teacher 180ed her head like that because it completely gave her away but I'm getting used to these villains being stupid now. Someone please tell me what accent that teacher had cause I can't figure it out. This was the third instance of Buffy ripping a random stake off of something and I kinda love that. The eggs hatching at the end... great... more insect plot...

**- Buffy:** MVP. I'm so glad she actually researched the monster she was gonna be fighting and both the bat sonar thing and using the vampire to find her was really smart. The saving grace of this episode, both for them and for my enjoyment.
- Xander: Eyeroll counter: 5. Don't think I need to elaborate. I do appreciate that at the end he immediately said "You were right. I'm an idiot."
- Angel: His vagueness would actually piss me off so bad like just say what you mean !!!! So unhelpful and the jacket did not impress me.
